Irving has always treated me honestly. No doubt he knows his stuff and is extremely affordable.

This is a rare place. Old school master mechanic running his own shop out in the cut of Alamance Co. I mean, I'll turn wrenches on occasion for my own vehicles when I can, but I'm not a mechanic. So when I ran across a problem with my truck that I wouldn't be able to tackle on my own, I went looking for a place nearby with a good reputation. Had heard good things in the village about Irving, but man oh man, his craftsmanship exceeds even what I was expecting from his reputation.

He's down to earth, honest, straight forward, and fair in his dealings. Most importantly: He's a diagnostician. A real diagnostician. A lot of auto shops get by doing parts replacements without ever really sussing out what's wrong with your vehicle, but not Irving. Irving knows his trade more than just about any mechanic I think I've ever met.

Do yourself a favor. Take your car to him if it's having issues. Don't forget to be patient: My repair took about a week to be completed, but it was a monster to tackle. But quality is worth the wait. The man even cleaned and adjusted the throttle on my truck because it was on the way to the part that needed to be replaced. It runs better than it did when I bought it a decade ago.

He has always been reasonably priced, given great service and with a great "bedside manner".
