“This church had a very welcoming atmosphere. I love how the families worship together. They are a close community with several active young as well as mature families. From my reading online I learned this church is very homeschool active and I like that the families can bring their education, worship, and social lives all together for a well grounded and formulated relationship together. Many members of the church specifically introduced themselves to me and took an interest in their visitor for the day. They easily knew I was visiting as I feel their members don't get lost in a huge membership base. Everyone was very kind and genuine. I love that the church is reading through the bible in order, bringing worship to order and I feel the congregation feels grounded in knowing the course of their education in knowing the Lord. The bible is a wonderful tool and all the churches I've seen in the past just seemed to haphazardly pick passages to teach and I feel I do not know my bible at all and only know various stories from the bible. What I would like to see different, and this is strictly personal taste, I love contemporary music rather than hymnal music. I would have loved to hear more modern day music at the beginning of service. I do feel their music group did a very good job with the music selections that they used.”

“First trip to the taco truck in the big town of Eli Whitney and it won't be our last! Hands down 100% better than the "run of the mill" Mexican restaurant at the corner. If you're looking for some authentic Mexican food without a trip to Graham, make the stop here. We had four of their plates, and all were great. Great choices of protein, well prepared, large portions, flavorful and nice touches to each plate. Looking forward to more from these folks!”

“Omg I went here the other night and it was raining at the time and I asked one of the staff members if I could by chance get a big piece of plastic to cover a bench I was about to purchase for my salon (the hair chair) and she went and looked she was super friendly and very personable unfortunately they didn't have any plastic big enough but by then it stopped raining yay and the friendly staff member and another nice gentleman carried the bench out to my truck for me yay this tjmaxx is amazing and I will definitely be back Thank yall for an amazing experience 😊”

“I'm so grateful to have found this place. I have been searching since August of 2022. I finally pulled the trigger and went with this salon based on all the great reviews. I had a work trip coming up, so it was the extra incentive to finally get my hair colored. I couldn't have been more pleased. I got an appointment with Kaylin and she was AMAZING!!! I told her what I wanted and she listened exactly. Prior to this I only had my best friend doing my hair for the past 20 years. I was so afraid to go to someone new, but having moved from out of state, I didn't have a choice. Now, I feel like if I moved, I would fly back just to have Kaylin do my hair. Wonderful salon and everyone seemed very nice. Will definitely be back.”

“A lovely beginner or relaxing area that is easy to reach and launch from and is also near walking trails, a playground, and food! We saw a ton of egrets, herons, flowers, and even a beaver dam!! Highly recommend if you're looking for something relaxing or a place to get back on the water after 4+ years. :) We can't wait to do the Haw Mill Race (South of the spillway). Really looking forward to returning! Out and back paddling.”
