“Just as I would expect from the owner. He called me and we spoke on how we could resolve the issue. This is a company that stands by not only what they do, but what they say. I truly appreciate Signature Flooring's response. I have been involved in several business transactions with the owner over the last 8 years. Most have come from me recommending Signature Flooring to my clients and in fact, Signature Flooring had done kitchen work on my own personal residence. That was then, this is now. Early on, when the owner was building the business, we would work one on one. He was conscientious on the job and I would often reach him directly by cell phone. My most recent experience has been nothing like the relationship I once knew. 3 years ago, Signature Flooring had installed vinyl plank at one of my client's homes. Some of the flooring had started pulling away from underneath the corner round molding at the wall. Truly, no big deal, as this is common and just takes some "kicking" to put it back in place. There was also a small 6" x 6" square piece that had somehow been removed and Signature Flooring gave us a quote that included a full box of planks as we had none left over to repair that small section. We accepted the quote and asked them to proceed. Then Signature Flooring informs us the original flooring is no longer available and asks if we'd like a quote for a complete flooring install. Does it make sense to rip up old flooring and install all new flooring when all that is needed is a 6" x 6" patch job and some "kicking" to put the flooring back in place? We responded back for them to buy a box of flooring that matches the existing flooring as closely as possible. After all, the 6" x 6" missing piece is against the wall in the breakfast nook and wouldn't be that noticeable. Then we were told different products have different locking mechanisms so the flooring wouldn't be installed properly. We're talking about a 6" x 6" piece! Unfortunately, that's the only solution Signature Flooring offered up. If they don't want to do the "small" jobs, just say so instead of making up excuses as to why the job cannot be done.”
