(March 6, 2019, 9:09 am)I moved here recently and have shopped a LOT of antique stores in and around the Charlotte area. This one still remains my go-to. I have several things that I collect, and can almost guarantee that The Depot will have it. There is something so unique walking around in this old Mill, it makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time. If you are searching for actual antique pieces, this place is the best to find them. Yes, they have some modern farmhouse decor, the usual soaps and jewelry booths, handmade signs, etc. But it's the Antiques that really shine. Most pieces are in great enough shape you can bring them right into your home, rather than have to clean them to really let them show well. The prices are mid-decent. Take your time when perusing the booths and grab what you like right then. You might find a similar item in a different booth for less money. The floors are old and creaky (which leads to more charm!) so wear comfortable shoes and give yourself a day to really enjoy the whole experience! Happy shopping!

(February 21, 2019, 1:23 pm)This place is great for people who like antiques and decorators. Looks more like a museum. Most booth's look professionally staged by the same person. Some booths were small, cramped and overstocked but great finds for the right buyer. Highly recommend a couple hours here.

(February 6, 2019, 6:06 am)We love to spend a few hours here on a rainy day. Ellie's Diner is really good for a sandwich or soup during a shopping break. Lots of cute farmhouse, shabby chic, primitive items for sale, and it's like a walk down memory lane for those of us who are a little older.

(January 19, 2019, 2:04 pm)Best rainy day activities for any age. Saw a birthday party inside the cafe today. Buggies located by the door. Warm greetings as soon as you step foot in the door. Staff easily recognized with the red and white vests. They're always walking around helping the customers with taking purchases up front to hold. Great place to visit.
