(July 11, 2018, 8:22 am)Thanks to Carol of McKee Travel, I just returned from an exquisite 16 days in Italy. I met with a friend from another country who joined me on this trip. Our requirements were varied; need for a couple of days to adjust to the time zone, get to the mountains in Umbria for a very important wedding, safe travel as we are seniors and would find trains difficult to manage, and a desire to see as much of Italy (safely) as we could. Everyone of these requests was superbly met. I flew first to the country of my friend (so as not to be searching in the huge Rome airport for each other) and we started with a couple of days in a spa to recuperate, had a private car drive us to the mountains for the 3 day wedding, and one take us back to Rome, where we started a 9 day bus tour with a solid touring company Mrs. McKee suggested. Our trip far exceeded our expectations! Never have I experienced such personalized care and planning while working with a travel agent. All arrangements went without flaw; the tour was exceptional; and at all times we felt safe and secrue. Best of all, we had frequent communtications with our agent, reminders of due dates for payments, and a complete update 2 weeks before which covered every detail. We even receivecd a Bon Voyage email the day before leaving! Did I mention we always felt heard, our wishes considered, and choices were offered that ideally suited our wished and honored our limitations? It is the best travel agency with which I have ever worked, and I salute McKee Travel for their personalized and very caring approach to our needs. Thanks to them, we had the trip of a lifetime!

(June 30, 2018, 6:26 pm)Carol did an amazing job marshaling every detail of our recent dream trip to Italy. She checked every box for us and we had such a fantastic vacation! Carol tapped us into a lot of really cool insider adventures such as a private wine tour of the Montalcino area or a Truffle hunting/cooking/eating day in Umbria, just to name a few. Every one of our hotels had a wow factor and was an improvement over the previous stop. Italy travel expert, no question. Steered us in all the right directions.
Whatever your favorite highest rating system is, McKee Travel wins it. I actively recommend McKee Travel to everyone I talk to who wants to take a European trip. -
