    I love, love, love Mama's French Toast breakfast at Cracker Barrel with a side of hash brown casserole, and blackberry compote topping on the French toast. I can only eat this every once in awhile because I don't want to gain too much weight, but man is it good. The staff are always sweet and the prices are more than fair.

    Extremely busy, as you would expect it to be, on New Year's Day. Unexpectedly busy, though, since the bussers all quit the previous weekend. Short staffed with servers, kitchen staff, and dishwasher as well. They are doing the best they can with the staff that is on hand working. It would be nice to see some good old fashioned teamwork from those that are working. You know, seeing something that needs to be done and just jumping in to do it instead of the "that's not my job" mentality. I was quoted a 20 minute wait time and was seated after about 25 minutes. Not too bad. Hopefully they will get all their staffing issues worked out soon. If you're looking for a job ....

    Service is always great when we go on Thanksgiving for breakfast with family. Even with a large crowd, they are very accommodating and friendly. My kids also love the large stuffed animals they have in November, and pick one out. They hold up surprisingly well for $10. I wish their were more gluten free and no sugar options, but that is my only complaint.
