(March 22, 2019, 2:21 pm)Stopped by for the hot dog sale and as expected, as most church hotdog sales, it was delicious! Homemade desserts and chicken soup, that taste like someone's grandmother made it. Folks were friendly, accommodating parking and seating, very fair prices (especially for a fund raiser) and you leave there feeling like your business was appreciated. I imagine this would be a wonderful church family to be part of if you're searching for a home church.

(July 18, 2018, 12:31 pm)Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church is one of the oldest and most loved church's in the Kannapolis / Concord area. It's conveniently located near exit 58 off of Interstate 85 and has a very rich history of serving the community. Perched atop of a hill, the church is very hard to miss and is very beautifully architected.

Cheryl Skinner has been the pastor since 2014. Cheryl is a 1988 graduate of the University o f Maine with a BA degree in Anthropology and Biology. She moved to North Carolina in 1989 to attend graduate school at UNC-Chapel Hill, where she worked as a research specialist for ten years.
