  I cannot say enough great things about Mission 217! From the moment you walk in, you see smiling faces who are genuinely happy to see you and welcome you. Pastor Corey invests in people, and I've known very few pastors who take the time to actually talk to their congregation outside of the service. Pastor Corey was a part of my families lives before we even began Mission 217. I met him for the first time through a death of a loved one and in that 3 years that have passed, he has also married my husband and I, dedicated our daughter and baptized my husband and 2 sons. He genuinely cares! Mission 217 genuinely cares! Come as you are, whether is a 3 piece suit or sneakers and a SnapBack. There is a place for everyone here. And no matter who you are or what you may have done, you are wanted and needed here. If you feel out of place at church, you won't at Mission 217. We're all broken, bandaged and healing. We just want to Make Jesus famous for what he has done for sinners like us!

  This place is Amazing! It truly is okay to not be okay, but it's not okay to stay that way. Everything is REAL & Authentic! Plus the Youth Ministry there is the bomb, but literally they call themselves B.O.M.B. SQUAD "Bunch of Mighty Believers"

  When I first walked in the doors of Mission 217, I knew this place was exactly where I was supposed to be! I felt at home, comfortable, and not judged. They had coffee before service and everyone seemed as down to earth as myself, come to find out after a few weeks, they really are that way! I love my church! They say my friends and I have grown a lot spiritually! I hope you decide to visit us! You will be glad you did!

  Hi I'm Jim
  I have have been attending Mission 217 for about a year and a half. My Spiritual back ground is Baptist and Pentecostal ( mostly Pentecostal ) I believe that God holds us accountable to his word, commands and love. By this I mean that God expects us to grow in the knowledge of His word and to take actions in our lives according to His word. God has lain out His commandments for a prosperous life in His instruction manual for human life called the Holy Bible. In this instruction manual God shows us how to receive God's instructions for a good life, and how to implement these instructions into our daily lives through His LOVE for us! Yes God loves us so much that He sent his only Son to live with us, teach us, love and die for us so that we can see how to live God's GOOD life.
  At Mission 217 Pastor Cory Alley and guest speakers teach the Word of God in a way that is relevant to our daily lives; so that we can be empowered through God's love and word to carry out His commandments in our lives. God wants to be our Friend, Father and Provider and at Mission 217 I have learned how to let this happen. When I joined Mission 217 all I wanted was to become a better man; but now I want to be best follower of my elder brother; JESUS, that I can. At Mission 217 the Holy Spirit speaks through Pastor Cory to teach us how to use the LOVE, JOY and POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT to lead a better Christian life. In other words how to be more like our elder brother JESUS. I can't say that I'm perfect; but now I at least have a road map and a powerful engine to get me there. Come join us and see what I mean!
