  After dealing with a horrendous landlord last year, KREA was a breathe of fresh air. I know not all renting experiences are the same, but we’ve had an excellent experience with them. They don’t advertise on public websites (that I’ve seen) such as Zillow and Trulia, but after the property managers we encountered on those websites, it’s refreshing.
  
  The house was up to code (which is not always the case on public websites - we found out first hand), clean, and had cute welcoming perks like new sponges for the kitchen sink (property management or owner, not sure - but so sweet regardless). The application and move in process was simple. Yes, there is a non-refundable application fee but that is true for nearly EVERY agency and is disclosed upfront. They take multiple applicants and choose the best, which is also true for nearly EVERY agency.
  
  Because the house sat for a short period before we moved in, there were (of course) issues. KREA was easy to contact and immediate in their actions to fix the problems (which were not their fault - simply the result of an uninhabited house). We have continued to solely recommend them to all of our friends and family. From our experience, KREA really does care about the owners’ and renters’ wellbeing. Be a good tenant, pay on time, and take care of the home you’re renting. KREA will take care of you. Thank you KREA!

  As one of the partners of Kannapolis Real Estate Agency, I find it very upsetting when we receive a negative comment. I would love to take this opportunity to say that this company has been in business since 1941 and has taken great pride as to our place in the community that we serve. Over the last 76 years we have provided housing for thousands of wonderful people that have placed their trust in us. It is always hard to turn someone away with not being to help them find what they want but, we are bound and required to place the best available rent prospects in our client/owner's homes. All rental applications are reviewed equally and final decisions are based on the applicants that show the best history and circumstances to be placed into a particular home. Those decisions are always based on credit, background checks and financial status. There is always a risk of hurt feelings to those prospective renters that may have lost out on a home to another applicant that possessed a little higher evidence of the qualifications. It always hurts to be turned down. We wish that we could place everyone in the home of their choice. We take great pride in our ability to work with both renter and property owners. We follow every step to make sure the best renter that is available is put in the home they desire. For those that are beaten out by higher qualified applicants, we are always willing to discuss why they were not picked but, we are not allowed to discuss their credit reports with them nor divulge any information on other applicants or owners. We thank you all for the opportunities that we are given by all that come in our doors and promise you that we will give you the best service that we are allowed to give without compromising our company in any way that is not allowed.

  I have worked for KREA as their Property Manager for 20 years and strive to find prospective tenants a home they will love. We receive many compliments from our tenants that they do not get the "family friendly atmosohere" with other companies as they do with us. The entire staff will work hard to make you their priority.
