On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

One of my favorite places to visit due to consistently good food and service. The brisket tacos are a personal favorite that I have gotten since I was in my young teens and is now a reminder of the good family meals I had with my mom. Drinks are good and atmosphere is nice with the lighting not being too bright. Only reason I give it a 4/5 is because I can’t give it a 9/10 and I personally am a picky eater so it’s hard for me to choose something away from what I primarily eat and this isn’t one of the places I usually try something new.

Their food is better now than it used to be.

So we literally just left and the whole experience was above and beyond. Everyone in our party absolutely loved their food (the empanadas and queso were probably the highlight but everything was great) and my margarita was delightful. Service was really fast and it's really cheap for the quantity and quality.

But, onto the fun part: my husband and I are in town from Pittsburgh and mayyyy have left the lights on in the car. After dinner, the car is completely dead, about 30 miles from where we're staying and hundreds of miles from home. Our server JUMPED OUR CAR. Now if that isn't some serious customer service, I don't know what is.

I regret that I didn't catch his name, but thank you for going above and beyond. We really appreciate it, and you! If we lived anywhere nearby, we'd certainly be back!
