  Excellent hotel at a reasonable cost. It was clean, non smoking where we were, but also offered a section for smokers. Pet friendly at a reasonable price.

  Friendly folks and welcoming touches provided by a gracious staff make the Hickory BW location a stand-out hotel experience. It is in a great location if traveling I-40, and the area provides several shopping choices along with dining spots within five miles or less. The room decor is standard but functional, and everything works as it should.

  This hotel is located only .8 miles from the Hickory Furniture Mart. The hotel lobby is cheerful and they always have water and coffee available. The free breakfast is in a delightful, sunny area with large windows and they offer lots of great breakfast choices. We really enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches. The rooms are average, but comfortable and have good lighting. The hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful. They even jump started our car when the battery on our rental car was dead the morning after we arrived. There are many dining options in the area and several are within walking distance of the hotel.
