  Such a gem of a doctor. In a world where subpar medicine is the norm, Dr Shook is the exception. I only wish I found him sooner!!

  I have just stared seeing Dr. Shook for about 2 weeks now. I am glad I have switched over to him. Dr. Shook is a very humble person. He isn’t like other doctors who are quick to judge you and he doesn’t try to rush you out the door. He genuinely cares about his patients and is willing to sit down and listen to help them with their pain. Defiantly recommend Dr. Shook and his staff!

  Before I get into how Dr. Shook is helping me to improve my health, I wanted to comment on him as a person. I currently have the privilege of working with him one-on-one, mainly via long distance consulting. Even over the phone, you can tell he is compassionate, caring, smart, and funny (in a good way :))..qualities that a lot of doctors are lacking nowadays. He actually listens to people and doesn't dismiss their feelings. Dr. Shook's videos are educational, very informative, and thought-provoking. He speaks in layman's terms so that all can understand. To complement his qualities, Dr. Shook's office staff is extremely pleasant, helpful, and responsive. Calls are answered in a timely manner and you rarely get put on hold. I've been struggling with thyroid disease for over 7 years and basically feeling miserable for a very long time. I've been to every specialist imaginable and not one has been able to explain why I feel this way. After working with Dr. Shook for only 1.5 months, I'm starting to feel better than I have in years! I have more energy, brain fog is gone, and muscular aches and pains have significantly lessened. I still have a long way to go and am not fully there yet with my health but for the first time in a very long time, I feel hope and actually believe that I WILL get better. If anyone reading this or know someone who is suffering from a chronic autoimmune disease and don't know where to start on the journey to better health, 'The Office of Dr. Brad Shook' is definitely a site they should check out. Thank you Dr. Shook!

  The staff at Hickory Spine are beyond friendly. They genuinely care about the patients and are very flexible if something comes up. As for Dr. Shook, he does an incredible job. He works at your own pace and is sure to explain everything he is doing step by step so you will have an understanding as to what is going on. He is very knowledgeable about this stuff and bases his practices off of proven published literature. 5 Stars, definitely recommend this place!
