“This was recommended by Brown mountain beach resort, the venue we were getting married. We went and did a taste test with the gentleman who runs it. I forget his name but he is taller with the dark hair. Everything was fantastic and the flavor it was great. The wedding and the cupcakes went off without a hitch. The cake tasted fantastic and he recommended a bunch of different types of flavors. Everyone loved them and they were super fresh. I would recommend this to anyone. And by the way their cinnamon rolls are out of this world good probably the best I’ve ever had !! Thank you so much we can’t thank you enough for making our day so special”

“Visiting the ReStore is always a treasure hunt. The store, under new management is evolving into an interesting gallery in the front portion. At times a bit pricey but unusual items abound. The back portion has a plethora of "raw" materials to be used for all types of creative projects... your imagination being the limit. They also offer at times a make and take for youth as well as classes on a number of subjects. Definitely worth while to check it out. 09-10-2019 They have moved to a new location on hwy 70 adjacent to the uhaul rental. Their space has increased, more furniture and other items have been added. Check them out because you never know when you might find an amazing treasure.”

“Every time I have been to visit the music and arts center in hickory all the employees are super nice and helpful.......Rodney Sebastian, Terry DePauw, and Mindy Stewart, are always available for any questions I might have. The acoustic guitar room is super nice and the acoustic tonal qualities in the room are amazing, it also smells like you walked right into a cedar chest.”

“I have 2 dogs and they are both Huskies, well at the previous vet that I had the older husky (which is only 1 and a half years old) they said he had hip dysplasia without doing an X-ray or asking if I wanted one. I decided that I wanted another vets opinion and the first thing they did was called me 2 days early and told me to bring Chipper in early so they would have time to do the X-ray. After this we found out that he only had pulled a muscle and would be perfectly fine. I enjoyed all the interactions that I have had and am sure I will continue to.”

“Today I had a great experience at NTB all because of Kelvin! You see, I needed new tires TODAY! My front end was out of alignment and vibrating badly. My husband called SAMs Club and while they had a better price on tires, they could not put them on today. They told him it would be early next week. Convenience is everything!! We walked into NTB in Hickory and were greeted with a warm smile and caring spirit from Kelvin. I knew I liked this gentleman immediately. He truly seemed concerned that we received exactly what we were looking for. He even gave us options for things we didn't know we needed by offering us, not only tires, but alignment and an outstanding warranty protection for tire rotation, balancing and even replacement if I should get a nail in one of my tires. And the installation time was less than what he estimated. But, we were still able to walk next door and grab a delicious burger and fry from 5 Guys next door while we waited. There is also a Habitat ReStore nearby within walking distance. Since it's the Christmas season, money is very tight this time of year. Kelvin even offered us 6 months same as cash financing to help us out. Kelvin is an outstanding Service Manager and should most definitely be recognized for his customer service skills. We will definitely go back to NTB (formerly Tire Kingdom) in Hickory. Thank you Kelvin for making my day...You're an blessing!!”

“Great customer service at this store! Over the phone, a gentleman checked to see if the store had a specific item in stock. When I arrived at the store to view the item in person, the csugnage made it easy to find. The lady who assisted me with roofing shingle samples was very helpful at the "pro desk". Also, their live poinsettias are absolutely beautiful right now!”
