“On August 21, 2019, we moved into our home in Hickory, NC from Yorktown, Va. and immediately decided to change out our heat pump heating and A/C unit to a gas type unit that would also heat and cool our basement area. After researching local companies we decided to call Canella Heating and Air Conditioning based on their outstanding reviews to discuss our needs. We were NOT and have NOT been disappointed in that decision! Any and all of the positive comments we can write cannot possibly come close to the excellence in customer satisfaction that we not only expected from such a reputable company but that we have also experienced first hand. The 1st meeting with their comfort specialist, Jeff Foxx, made us feel at ease with our contractor of choice. Through his own technical knowledge and expertise of the equipment, he gave us a detailed overview of what to expect during the installation process for their proposed system as well as their full maintenance guaranteed period. He came equipped to answer any and all questions as well as to write out the entire project scope of work with associated costs! After that, Craig and Seth Canella, personally came out to discuss the intricate design of the new unit installation including 5 total gas appliance locations in and/or outside of the house, to project completion. After natural gas was installed in our home, Canella Heating & A/C immediately came back out to finish the heating portion of the job before the first cold snap hit our area. We had to have the service technicians come back 3 times to do fine adjustments on the heating unit but each time they corrected the issues in a minimal amount of time. One thing was apparent from the start of the project to now...training, training, training and customer service is a top priority with Canella and it shows. Their installers, including Seth Canella being on the job every day, are fully trained to provide professionally installed equipment, customer training and education on how it is to operate and and technicians to service the equipment properly should problems ever occur. Our total experience with Canella has far exceeded the norm of what we typically received from other such service providers in Virginia. Such a welcomed relief!!! We highly recommend Canella for any heating and air conditioning needs you may have. It's worth a call to Canella!”
