Firsthealth of Chatham County saved my life on July 8, 2017. I had had a heart attack at home, but wasn't sure exactly what was wrong-- just that I was severely diaphoretic, could barely move and felt miserable. I live alone, called my kids and said not to call 911, but they did anyway. Thank God they did. The Chatham Co EMS team was there in no time, found the key hidden in my yard, and came in. I had a cardiac arrest just before they put me in the ambulance, but they got the heart started again. Long story as short as possible, they were there in time and knew EXACTLY what to do. I am a 70+ year old female in perfect health otherwise, so this was completely unexpected. Thanks is too small a word for this EMS Team.
I have had to use First Health 3 times in the last year...courteous, timely, able to ask questions/and respect answers...Never had used an ambulance before, so I cannot compare, thank the Lord, but I have no complaints and only complements
