“The Dams "signature trail" was overall a good, easy to moderate 4 mile hike. Well blazed, several footbridges need repair. Trail maps available at visitor's center were poorly drawn. Trail was wet in places.”

“All around excellent service on our new stainless steel chimney cap- nicest in the neighborhood. The process was efficient with good communication for the estimate, scheduling and reminders on service days. There was a little hitch in the cap measurement at the first installation visit but the problem was solved well- a good measure of quality service. The installation crews were professional, polite and excellent- kudos to them on this hard work and job well done.”

“Look no further than Between the Lakes for your storage needs! This is a great spot- safe, clean, organized- and the owner, Russ, is an all around phenomenal guy! He helped me find storage for my boat when I was in a real pinch, and it didn’t stop there. He remained easy to communicate with and always made sure our boat was in good hands! When a great storage spots has top notch management, you’ve hit the jackpot!”

“This church is for you if you're into extra-long southern Baptist services with plenty of shouting and singing. Classic hymns most of us know by heart from childhood grandma church visits. Attended a funeral and burial on the property next door in the lovely old graveyard. Forget the funeral time, the funeral started over an hour earlier when locals started to arrive, to the families surprise. It worked out since the funeral lasted longer than expected too. The southern preacher had lots to say about everyone going to hell if you're not saved "by the blood". Everyone was kind, sweet, and caring poor country folk. Multiple clean bathrooms, plenty of parking, a great hall for dinner after the service, it's really a lovely country baptist church surrounded by trees and fields. I hope to stop back by to read the headstones and engravings from the early 1800s.”

“Jason and his staff have gotten me back up and running as quickly as possible all throughout these last many years of landscaping and lawn mowing. Jason or his staff will help you with anything from purchasing a new mower to hunting for that cheap bearing you need. I’ve always enjoyed how they treat you like you’re the only one in the store. If you do need to wait to be helped, they have new mowers, blowers, chainsaws, pressure washers, and everything that goes with them for you to check out while you wait. They service about any type of equipment you may have, too! I consider Jason my friend, thanks for all y’all do, man!”

“Wow! What a great place to eat. We were in the area around dinner time and just ran across this place. We were very pleasantly surprised with how great the food was. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and a Biscuit. Really good. And the place is really clean and well kept. The two guys working in the kitchen are top notch and seem like really good guys. We would certainly come back when we are in the area again.”

“We traveled from D.C. to the area for a wedding and stayed at Lucky Bar Farm rather than one of the hotels in Sanford. This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Nancy and Steve were so warm and welcoming but not intrusive during our stay. It felt as if we were staying with long time friends or relatives. The customer service Nancy and Steve provide goes above and beyond. There was a roaring fireplace in the morning, freshly baked cookies upon arrival, fitness/game room and complimentary drinks. I'm writing a review because we made our decision to stay here based on other reviews. As an added bonus, Nancy made a delicious breakfast. Thank you Nancy and Steve for your exceptional hospitality and memorable time; we hope to make it back down for another cozy weekend getaway at Lucky Bar Farm!”
