Oh man, the house our family rented for the week was amazing. Lots of room for the family and extended family, a private pool to play in, and quick access to the ocean was just some of its appeal. It also was immaculately decorated and had everything we needed for the week. It really was our home away from home!

Twiddy company does not check everything like they say they do..Received the home we rented for a week..Beautiful home but Gas Grill was covered with grease and was never cleaned from previous renter!! Twiddy tells us that it's our responsibility to clean grill..as soon as we tried to clean it and turned it on..The grill went on fire!! It took Twiddy 2 days to come and inspect the grill and try to decide if they were going to give us a new grill or clean this one themselves..we are 2 families that cook all the time..we had to change plans and try to cook our meals we planned a different way those days..before anyone came and replaced the grill..Too many people working for Twiddy with not enough Managers that will make a decision right away when there is an issue!! But Buck island was a great community to stay at and security 24/7 plus a gated area to get in..

Our rental was thru Resort Realty. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need. Quick walk to the beach makes it easy to go back and forth. Gated community feels safe for the kids to explore.

Had a great vacation with the family. Wondeful neighborhood. Conveniently close to grocery store, dining, attractions and fun. Nice beach access. Great amenities we with a pool etc. Would definitely come back again and again!!!

Me and my buddies lived here for the summer and it is a really great community. We spent a lot of time at the beach and it is very nice. The sand is very soft and the water exceptionally refreshing. The Cabana service is also a huge plus for this community. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. Absolutely the best group of guys you'll ever meet. Be careful when dunking on the basketball hoop as it may twist in place. Besides the basketball court there are tennis courts pool and hot tub available to guests security guards and easy access to food lion. Some would define this as the ideal picture of the modern American vacation community.
