Mary was the absolute sweetest person ever! My mother, fiancé and I just left from our sampling and no doubt we are hiring the buttercup cafe for our wedding this coming September! She personalized everything and made it very unique, super sentimental and involved with your wants and needs, we all just had to hug her for her generosity and appreciation for the amazing food. ❤️❤️❤️

We recently hired The Buttercup Cafe for our October wedding and we could not have asked for a better catering experience! Mary created a menu that was perfectly unique and authentic to us. Our guests really enjoyed our dessert table selection over traditional cake only and we had such a fun addition to our cocktail hour with a macaroni and cheese bar! It was such a pleasure working with them, thank you for making our wedding dreams come true!

For those who have never had a chance to work with Mary and her team, you don't know what you are missing. Mary catered our wedding on September 25th 2021, and form day one of our tasting, to that day, not one, and I mean ONE complaint. Everything that was offered by Mary was A+ number 1. Mary and her team were nothing short of amazing! I used Buttercup Cafe in May 2018 for my wedding. Mary was a pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating and easy to work with. And she is just a really great person. I just can’t say enough how she and her team went above and beyond with their excellent service! And the food was wonderful! All of our guests raved about the food.

Ms. Mary is a godsend! If you are planning a wedding- hire buttercup cafe! I was the day-of coordinator for my best friend’s wedding at the train station, and Ms Mary went above and beyond. She knew the venue in and out. She advised on the floor plan and how to arrange everything for the reception. She also set everything up and offered to clean up at the end of the night. I cannot praise her and her team enough for all the extra work they put in to make the day stress-free for the bride and groom.

In addition to being kind, responsive, and relaxed during the planning of the wedding, she was cool as a cucumber on the day of. She seemlessly incorporated a low country boil, provided by the groom’s family, and desserts provided by the brides friends into her set up and menu. She also handled very stressful guest from the bride’s side (who were providing dessert) with grace and ease. She is capable of handling anything and putting out those unexpected fires- and she does it all with a smile!!

She is wonderful to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, and the food is DELICIOUS. The taco bar was a hit and I couldn’t stop eating her brownies. Going with buttercup cafe for your catering means less stress and happy guests.
