Restoration Temple Family Life

The hotel was fine, pretty standard Hyatt experience. But the real reason for my review is Tim the shuttle driver! He is such a kind person with a very positive energy, and seems to be very in tune with other peoples energies as well. I really enjoyed connecting with him and hearing about his experiences. He is a sweet soul for sure.

I’ve stayed in quite a few Hyatt Place hotels these past few months so I’m basing my ratings on comparisons with those. While the room is great, the bathroom was dismal. There was absolutely no where to stand in the shower/toilet room. The door took up the entire area. In two of my pics you can see the door actually touching the shower stall and then the toilet. They definitely should switch to pocket doors here or just redo the bathrooms. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a good location. Free parking doesn’t hurt either!

We came in late from Italy , just barely in time to get the shuttle. We were picked up quickly by a ray of sunshine named Willie. He told us about the crazy Texas weather and then offered to take my husband to Whataburger. Y’all we were gone for 2 1/2 mos and when he offered my husbands eyes lit up. So we went by and he was in heaven with his burger. Then we got to Hyatt place to check in and there was another Ray of sunshine, Dee. She got us checked on, asked about our trip and exclaimed about Italy. I felt like one of my kids was there to great us! It was such a wonderful way to come home. The ac in our room was ice cold and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was nice with a good selection.

I recommend Hyatt Place above the other hotels nearby. We’ve stayed at several others but Hyatt Place will be our choice from here on
