“First time eating at this establishment as it’s sort of obscure in its location. It wasn’t until I was right at the door that I saw where it was. It’s a small location that is attached to a coffee shop called The Blend. It’s right in between a Dry Cleaners and The Blend. The food is delicious. I had the special of the day, the quesabirria’s, which were amazing! My sister had a grilled chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. All food regardless of take out or dine in is served in plastic take out containers. While the food is delicious, the portion sizes are on the small size. For many, their portions will be sufficient. However, if you’re used to getting larger portions at other Mexican/Southwestern establishments, you may be disappointed. My sister rated her meal an 8 and I rated mine a 9. Great flavor!! The decor is bright and lively. I noticed some trash and bits of food on the floor which may just be remnants from the lunch crowd (we arrived at 1:30), but this, along with the smaller portions is the reason I didn’t give 5 start.”

“I am sorry I don’t have a photo at this time to show you but I have to tell you that the flowers I ordered for my Aunts Birthday were just delivered and early in the day for her to start the day off with a smile. They were delivered by a lovely lady who came right in while my aunt was on Skype with me. The flowers were breathtaking and presented with a wonderful balloon I ordered and chocolates. My aunt opened the bag and it was several bags of chocolates inside. She was thrilled. The whole presentation was fantastic. What great service. The flower arrangement had orchids, roses that were stunning, Lily’s, and Hydrangeas. I highly recommend this place if you want beautiful flowers with a added touch.”

“Stopped by for lunch since we were in the area. We have noticed the parking lot always has cars, which is usually a good sign. This is totally a small town type of diner. There were 10 “meats” listed on the whiteboard and 18 “vegetables” on another. Lots of diners were enjoying plate lunches, subs and sandwiches upon our visit. We opted for the Ham and Cheese Sub and the Cheese Steak with a side of fries. The hubby originally ordered the Pork Rib Sandwich, but they had already sold out of it. Our food was good and prepared as requested. Service was fantastic.”

“New to Lexington, we were in need of a new recliner and decided to check out Shumaker's. We were impressed with the wide range of selection they had available. We were immediately greeted by Margaret and let us know she was available if we needed her assistance. It didn't take us long to find the "just right" recliner for us! The price was a little high for a floor model (they didn't have any in the back) but after learning they're a family run for many years, we didn't mind paying a little extra to support a local small business. They do offer delivery if it's local for $80 or $85, can't recall but we opted to pick it up ourselves. Overall, great customer service and large selection, will definitely be a repeat customer.”
