When Daddy passed away earlier this month our family friend and funeral director advised me to go to speak with Daddys minister prior to coming to the funeral home to make the arrangements. I did so that afternoon. Without going into detail, let's just say that meeting didn't go as planned. The reason I tell you this is because of what I found the next day. My earthly Angel! This is something that I'm certain most people don't know. The couple that manage Holly Hill Cemetery are Eric and Megan Anderson. Along with Shannon, Chris and Angie who are also there to help any way they can. But here's the kicker. If you DON'T have a church or you DON'T have a minister Megan Anderson is there for you. She is a Certified Officiant. Or in my terms a Certified Celebratory Officiant. She took the reins, spent nearly 2.5 hours with me on a holiday weekend Sunday afternoon to get to know Daddy and his life. By the time of the service those in attendance thought she knew him. They were astonished to learn that the two of us just met 5 days before. The service was amazing! I want everyone to know this service is available to them and for their loved one for a small fee. Daddy had the best send off I could have ever hoped for. I wish I had a recording of it to listen time and time again. It was soothing and everyone went away with a happy heart ❤ Please remember her if you are in need. You will not regret it. Thanks for reading.”
