  The best equipment in the area. I love this gym, I only wish they had a better system for the 24-hour door access. I’ve been to the gym a few times early in the morning, and the door was not working. The call support center is not useful when the door is off-line because the Internet is out. It would be nice to have a number to call a real person that can come unlock the door. I also wish they provided towels. Otherwise this is a great gym, friendly staff and has everything you need.
  
  Note: There was no issue with my key tag. I called the support number on the door, and the gentleman said that the door was "offline" probably due to the internet being out. Would have been nice to have a # to call someone to come unlock it, but there was nothing he could do remotely. I drive out of the way to workout here and definitely could have slept in.

  PROS: Equipment is top notch: plate loaded machines in excellent condition. The crowd is also good. A lot of bodybuilders, but I've never once had a negative interaction with anyone which is uncommon for a shared workout space. The staff has always been friendly and do a good job keeping it clean.
  
  CONS: In spite of the plentiful equipment it has become too crowded during peak hours. 40-50 people in the free weight/machines area is just too many and there are always multiple groups of 3+ guys working out together in the same crowded area. That makes it virtually impossible to work-in, and the machines free up very slowly. They don't have enough resistance machines, either. I try to be flexible but often have to cut these exercises out because the machines are in use the entire time I'm there.
  
  TLDR: It's a good gym overall (especially if you work out late), but if you work out during peak times you'll always have to alter your routine significantly from what you planned.

  Gold’s looks small on the outside but when you walk in they certainly make the most of the space. The equipment is top notch and the gym is very clean. Alexis is a sweetheart. She helped us get a membership and answered all our questions, no matter how stupid they were. I’m glad there’s now a Gold’s Gym is the Triangle because it’s definitely the gym to beat.

  I’m a previous member of Gold’s Gyms in other cities, and I like the setup in this recently established gym here in the Triangle. All the equipment I need and an upbeat staff and surroundings. In my past life I wasn’t brave enough to take any of the fitness classes, but this morning at 8:30 I ventured to try the Body Pump class. Great workout, and today’s instructor Leslie is a total pro. Attendance on Saturday morning Body Pump could stand to improve though - who wants to start a movement!…

  I LOVE going to this gym! Clean facility, people are nice, brand new equipment, and the perfect size. Easy access for me right off of I-40, very close to my home and work. Great selection of group fitness classes and top notch personal training. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a gym in this area.
