There's the beaver marsh, complete with the obligatory beaver lodge and beavers, as well as the Ellerbe Creek flowing through the preserve. You would never guess that there is such a cool place so close to urbanity!
(November 22, 2019, 10:19 am)Super cool hidden gem in Durham. Beautiful wetlands with hiking trails tucked behind a rundown strip mall. I was skeptical of the directions, but the signs helped to reassure me when we got here.
