Live 2.5 hours away from this hole in the wall place that my cousin , showed us about 2 months ago when we were in Durham , at Duke Hospital to see about surgery on my back. So on a post op checking I wanted to come back and enjoy another good fried oyster dinner. Check them out , it's a great hole in the wall place to eat. Great , Great Food and staff !!! Mick Dundee

(February 29, 2020, 9:23 am)This place is always crowded. I highly recommend making reservations if you can. The are known for their shrimp and grits. They were a little too saucy for me, but the flavors are there. The staff is friendly and the service was good.

(December 31, 2019, 1:25 pm)Went here for our birthdays. Great food, good atmosphere. But the best thing was the service. Our waitress (name started with a "J"), college student, provided the best service we have had in years. Always smiled regardless of our requests. We had 2 small children with us & she handled everything very well on a very busy Tuesday night.
