  I have been taking my pets to Colony Park Animal Hospital for over 20 years. Simply the best! Dr.McKinney is Georgii's vet but I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Hughes as well. Just a wonderful staff here.

  As first time puppy owners, my husband and I were a little nervous about how the vet process would go, but everyone at Colony Park made us feel completely comfortable from beginning to end. The staff at the front desk are so welcoming, the techs are caring and super helpful, and Dr. Zimmerman was great as well. Everyone was totally open to answering all of our questions and treated Moose with gentle care, which resulted in such a smooth first time experience. We called 2 different vets before finding Colony Park and both had 2+ week wait times, but Colony Park was able to get us in within 2 days, which really eased our worries as first time puppy owners. The scheduling process was so easy too (love that you can do appointment requests & see availability online/through the app)! Thanks for already taking such good care of Moose, Colony Park staff. Looking forward to our next visit!

  Have been taking my oldest dog here for the past 2.5 years (got him just before the pandemic started), and my 6 mo puppy here as well. Nothing but great things to say about the whole staff. We've worked with all of the vets there just due to availability reasons, and every single one of them have been amazing! It seems like it might be a little pricey compared to some in the area, but quality and great doctors are worth it!

  I have yet to actually meet a veterinarian due to Covid, but the care provided by this clinic is amazing. I first took my pup there after moving to Durham when my dog got into a scuffle with a neighbor’s dog and received a minor eye injury. As a new patient, they got my dog in early the next day and I was able to get her a full physical to establish care that day as well. Amazing! Her second annual eval was also by herself, but the veterinarian called me while I was waiting in my car to go over her findings. She gave a very thorough evaluation with recommendations for follow up. I felt my dog was examined well by a qualified veterinarian who clearly knew her stuff! As I was waiting in my car, I noticed how gentle the various techs were the number of older and unwell dogs which they needed to retrieve from cars the parking lot. I now live 30 mins from Colony Park Vet, but I will gleefully drive this distance for the tremendous care received here.
