  I am fortunate to have Jewelsmith in town. On my out of town and out of country travel, I have seen many fine original bracelets, pendants, earrings and rings, but only rarely make purchases. My hesitation lies in large part to the wonderful collection of unique jewelry, all hand crafted, right here in Durham. Jewelsmith's existing pieces are unparalleled, making finding the perfect gift easy. However, if a custom piece is favored, the team of expert goldsmiths and gemologists are outstanding in designing and delivering exactly what you have in mind.   Brought my engagement ring in because the prongs on the main stone had broken and the jeweler I used previously had closed. After talking with the staff about repair options I decided to reset JUST the center stone portion using a bezel setting. Just picked it up and it looks amazing! They replaced just the center portion of the ring, which was important to me, because the (custom) anniversary and wedding rings still sit perfectly and look like it always was this way. Very happy with the results!

  Jewelsmith is simply amazing! Delouis and the other staff at Jewelsmith worked with us over the past 6 months to create custom wedding rings for our upcoming wedding in November 2019. The rings far exceeded our expectations. The level of customer service we received was truly exceptional. Jewelsmith has created several custom pieces for us over the past 20 years, so we did not consider doing business with any other jeweler for our wedding rings. We now live in New Jersey, and we still chose Jewelsmith. When a friend asked us why we were going to Jewelsmith in North Carolina to have our rings made, I responded, “when you see the rings, you will understand why”.

  A co-worker recommended Jewelsmith to me for an appraisal for insurance. Everyone there was great to work with and great customer service! I asked them to add beads to my ring and they were willing to work with me until it fit perfectly. When I put it on it was already a perfect fit though! They had cleaned my ring free of charge during this process and told me ring cleaning is complimentary after working with them. Highly recommend Jewelsmith!
