  Cornwallis Road Animal Hospital, the staff, and Dr. Edwards are extraordinary. Their dedication and compassion toward owners and their pets is profound and meaningful. My sweet girl has cancer and they have been there for both of us every impossible step of the way. They work as a team to provide exceptional care at fair prices. I am so grateful for Dr Edwards and the wonderful staff. Thank you so much. Sniffle. Sniffle.

  We had our first appointment at this vet last week and it was great. Due to the need for social distancing they came and met us outside to ask a few questions and meet my dog. I waited for them and after their appointment the vet called me with his assessment. He was great, clearly very knowledgeable, and very kind. We will definitely be back.

  My mother's chihuahua, Tito, is 18lbs and 14 years old. He's been to various vets with varying degrees of diagnostics done. For the most part we thought he had been treated well.
  
  For a few years now he's had bad breath (read: rancid) and all of the vets he's seen have said his teeth look great! At most, maybe a brushing. After his appetite and mood declined, we decided to get a second (third? fourth?) opinion and heard good things about Cornwallis so we brought him and dropped him off for the day.
  
  It turns out Tito needed A LOT of care, including multiple tooth extractions. My mom adores this dog and was understandably distressed. The team at Cornwallis clearly understood this. They were incredibly thorough and communicated throughout the days he was left there. Dr. Edwards and her team covered considerations given his age, comfort, ability to eat.. the list goes on. They even expressed his glands which has been a particular issue for the poor little guy.
  
  Every time I pick Tito up he has been way calmer than any other hospital I've taken him to. My mom is also much calmer when he goes. He healed quickly, his breath is GREAT, and his appetite is back!
  
  I had heard Dr. Edwards performed acupuncture. I've never been a big believer, but Tito has chronic pain and many times a day his trachea collapses. After her incredibly successful surgery and treatments, I figured it was worth a shot. After the first treatment, Tito didn't cough or gag for a full week!
  
  Dr. Edwards and the team at Cornwallis are the only practitioners I have ever trusted 100%, and now they're the only ones good enough for my "brother."

  Best vet in Durham. I wholeheartedly trust that Cornwallis will have the best interest in myself and my pet above their bottom line. If you're new in the area or already have a vet, come here immediately - you're going to receive quality vet services at an affordable price. And yes, I have checked various surrounding vets in the Durham area to compare. My dog is currently enrolled in their wellness program that pays for itself. Not only that, but my pup has gone through a highly involved surgical procedure, and he's doing so much better now. I trust this vet so much! At the end of the day, my dog is always happy after leaving his appointments and that's what makes everything worth it! Come here!
