Classic comic store layout. Friendly staff. Similar vibe as the old school comic store I used to frequent as a youth in the 90s - focus is clearly on comics. Large selection of both comics and figures. My kindergartner appreciated the well stocked kid-friendly section.

Not ony is this spot beautiful, it's efficiently organized and staffed by people that know comics and understand the culture. Please support this comic book store if you're in the area. Their title selection is great and they have toys set at accessible prices as well as collectors pieces.

Wonderful store, very clean and organized with friendly staff. Placed an order for all of the cover options for my favorite comic artist. Now I'm set up to have a copy of each cover for all the new issues as they come out! My favorite Ultimate Comics shop closed in Chapel Hill, but this one looks like it's gonna be a great replacement! 😊

Ultimate Comics is the best comic, pop, back issue, shop in Durham. The staff is friendly, jovial and knowledgeable about current issues and back stories, they also have tons of Pops, statues and graphic novels. They learn your name, and develop a relationship with you.
