(September 20, 2020, 1:14 am)I live close by and this is my go-to Chinese food place. I haven't tried a better one in Durham yet. The Mongolian beef, crab wontons, beef with broccoli, and lo mein items are consistently fresh and flavourful.
I was a bit disappointed with the garlic pork though, as it didn't taste great and upset my stomach the next morning. The stomach issue may have been from other snacks I ate after, but it was either those or the reheated leftovers of the garlic pork. I'll take that item as a one off. -

I've also been here several times during the COVID pandemic and they have great protocols for take out! Even a box with pens that have been sanitized! -

(March 1, 2020, 10:41 pm)I cannot believe I've never reviewed this restaurant.It's hands-down the best Chinese restaurant in Durham and I'm telling you I have been to every Chinese restaurant in Durham I live here 20 years and have tried them all and I always I mean always choose this one over them all. I have turned on over 20 of my friends and they all say the same thing man this is the best Chinese restaurant we have ever been to as far as the food. It's clean it's small it's quaint you will love it I'm telling you. You have to check them out for lunch. I have to admit that when they had their slow spell well during the Kroger closing they got rid of one of my favorite employees. She was the meanest lady I ever dealt with in a restaurant but over the years I grew to love her I have no clue what her name is but my God I wish they'd bring her back.they don't care about any of this except the food I'm telling you it's wonderful you cannot go wrong with the general tso chicken if you tell them to make it extra crispy / well done you will not regret it.
