  I have attended KPIC for about 6 years now. The congregation is large but it feels like family. Everyone is friendly, childcare is provided during most events and Sunday sermons are interesting and, I think, on target for the Triangle's population.

  Love for Jesus and love for people. That’s what you’ll find at KPIC. Always a warm smile at the door and a joyful welcome. Kids ministry is fun and inviting. Feels like home. Many nations represented, its a joy to see such love and diversity. Come as you are!

  I have been attending King's Park (Durham) for 20 years. My wife and I, after getting married, sought out a church in the Triangle that was Gospel-centric, authentic, and large enough to offer many different opportunities to grow and serve. Right away, we found what we were looking for in King's Park, and even found many unexpected things we didn't know we needed at the time. The leadership at King's Park is truly about serving the congregation, equipping them to know and share the Gospel, and helping them to discover their gifts/purpose and providing them with opportunities to grown in those gifts and use them for God's glory. This is what we are all created for, and it is truly fulfilling to join with a body of believers who are all likewise engaged. The pastoral leadership at King's Park is as diverse as the congregation - from many ethnicities and backgrounds. They don't just teach "at" the people but humbly minister to the church, always willing to include themselves in people who are in need of a Savior to walk in wholeness, purpose, truth, life. The worship is contemporary and outstanding, but is so much more than a concert - the worship team (also diverse) seeks to bring people into the presence of God and encounter Him each Sunday. King's Park also thrives on "life groups" which allow the congregation to meet throughout the week outside the Sunday service to form relationships while they engage in things they commonly enjoy. There are so many opportunities: for those simply seeking basic answers to meaning and purpose in life to those who want to grow in their understanding of true Biblical Christianity (often vastly different from what the culture portrays) to those who wish to serve their communities in practical ways to those who want to grow deeper in their understanding of God through theological studies. We have been with King's Park for 20 years because, while imperfect, they have been open, transparent, and full of grace while at the same time firmly standing on the Truth of God's Word in an age where people have largely abandoned Truth for relativism and pluralism to suit their own agendas and desires. We are welcoming to everyone who has a desire to know God, and I recommend anyone (especially those who have been hurt by a church or pastor in the past) to come to King's Park and find grace, truth, love, family, life, and healing.

  This is the most welcoming church that I have ever been a part of. Since joining, I have felt nothing but love and support from the members and leaders. I love how diverse it is (reflecting the unity God desires) and how the teachings never stray from biblical context. There is a place for YOU at Kings Park...
