Dr Kelley did my total knee replacement. It's clear that he does this work to help people. The surgery went very well. I was amazed at the low level of pain post surgery. I attribute this to the skill of the surgeon, his staff, and the nerve block. At first I was very uncomfortably and a complete fall risk, but the pain was tolerable and I didn't need opioids. Dr. Kelley's approach to recovery is very specific and gets good results. The back pain I had before the surgery is gone now and I can walk without a limp. So grateful. I have my life back.
I'd rate Dr. Kelley and his staff 10+! They are excellent. Very professional and they go above and beyond with all of their patients. They take the time to discuss what is needed and you never feel rushed. EXCELLENT!!!! My Right Knee replacement was much needed and my recovery was easy and they walked me through the process and what I could expect! 5 stars is not nearly enough!
If I could rate Dr. Scott S. Kelley higher than FIVE STARS, I'd rate him at 100 STARS! I had my hip replacement surgery two months ago, and the chronic hip joint pain that I had was gone the moment I woke up from my surgery! I still have the normal recovery pain, but this pain is nothing compared to the four plus years of pain I have been living with on a daily basis. It's amazing how quickly I am recovering from my surgery. The reason for my awesome recovery is because I had a superb Orthopedic Surgeon who used the Anterior method. I definitely recommend this method, especially since I had my lower back fused as a teenager. I am very happy that I got a second opinion that brought me to Dr. Kelley who is an expert with cases like mine.
The procedures that Dr. Kelley has setup in his practice make your surgery go very smoothly. He has a special team of people that know what they need to do to help you get through the the process easily. They can answer any question(s) you may have regarding anything. Each person knows what they need to do, and it frees up Dr. Kelley, so that he can focus on your surgery.
I highly recommend him to do your hip or knee replacement surgery. I'm currently 54 years old, and I pray I won't need my other hip replaced anytime soon, but I am elated to know that I have a reliable and renown Orthopedic Surgeon like Dr. Kelley in the Raleigh area available to me to contact in the future.

I had total hip replacement surgery in February. Dr. Kelley and his team were terrific. Each visit to the clinic was informative and all questions were answered before we left.
Dr. Kelley's skill was exceptional. Recovery was fast and I was back to work in four weeks.

Dr Kelley and his staff are a perfect fit for me on so many levels. They are efficient, professional, and welcoming. The front desk is always accommodating and friendly. Jamie and Emily sincerely listen and address questions honestly and thoroughly. They have a very busy practice, but I have never feel hurried. They do a great job of seeing you on or near your appointment time.
Dr Kelley is a renowned hip and knee surgeon who is not only skilled in the operating room, he truly want you to get back to the game, and living a normal life.
Another thing that I truly appreciate about Dr. Kelley is that he tells it like it is in a very kind and sincere manner. He will always offer his professional opinion , but seeks to know you and your goals and expectations. His approach is that you are the expert of your body , and he relies on you' to communicate clearly with him and his team.
Dr Kelley replaced my hip and a knee to date , and the results have been awesome. I am back playing competitive racquetball and walking 18 holes of golf a few times per week. I have referred many friends and family to him over the years, and they have all had extremely successful results. I strongly recommend Dr Kelley and his team. They are winners!
