“Lots of praise for this wonderful practice. New to Durham on May 21) and needed to be seen a month later for sudden and new eye problems I was having. Got in quickly to see Dr. Tailor the optometrist, and a week and a half later followed up with Dr. Wrzosek the ophthalmologist who was out of town when I had the emergency. Since then I have had a follow up with Dr. Wrzosek and will be seeing Dr. Tailor next week for refractions for both contacts and glasses. I have already picked out my new frames while waiting to see the doctor, they have a great selection right there in office. The office is clean and Covid protocol safe which I appreciate. The entire front office staff is very friendly and helpful. Appointments run pretty much on time without long waits. Both Dr. Tailor and Dr. Wrzosek are extremely knowledgeable, great listeners, and thorough in their eye examination, and they both are wonderful communicators about my eye condition and also possible treatment plans. I also have high praise for their Ophthalmology Assistants, Amber, Jamie and Courtney (I need to check on the second name and will edit if I have it wrong---, I saw Jamie today). Their optician Jacqueline was also very helpful in my frame selection process.”

“I think you every individual who comes here comes with their own mindset and that makes the beginning of their experience. I cannot speak for the inpatient treatment. I can only speak for my personal experience with my evaluation and wait time. I made an appointment and it took me about 40 minutes to fill out my paperwork. Then after I finished it took about 20 minutes to be seen to be evaluated. I spoke to a very sweet therapist and she was very empathetic and kind. She only left me for about 10-15 min AT MOST. I don’t even believe it was more than 11 min to be honest but there was no clock. It was very quick for me. I see many reviews of long wait times but I had made an appointment so maybe that’s the difference. I was then recommended for partial outpatient program at the triangle springs changes location where I had a very safe space to be. I learned more than I thought I would. It’s all about whether you want change or not. It’s all up to you. If you go into it with doubt hating every second then that’s what it’ll be. You need to come wanting change and better for yourself. It’s up to you.”
