“Two years ago, I absolutely loved this Walmart’s eye center and staff. My five year old needed new frames and after a traumatic experience elsewhere, they were amazing. They talked to my daughter on her level, asked her about her thoughts. They talked to her directly and recommended that her number one priority should be the fit/how they felt on her face and that her number two priority be the frame’s appearance. It was wonderful. She and I left very happy. I recommend this particular eye center to anyone who has a child with glasses. We’ll be going back again to get her new pair.”

“I am the Optometrist responding to the review by Gary Dobson. Mr. Dobson had made an appointment with our office but had not provided his insurance information. As a courtesy to our patients we verify insurance coverage prior to the day of the examination so that time is not spent doing that at the actual visit -it can sometimes take awhile to verify insurance depending on the policy, and it may save them a trip if their coverage is not what they expected. The day prior to his appointment, I called Mr. Dobson to confirm as well as inquire about his insurance info. (He spoke with me because my office manager is on maternity leave so I am also handling some of her duties). He stated that he would just bring it to the appointment. I reminded him that it is to his benefit to have us verify his coverage prior to the visit. At that, he said "you know what just cancel it" and hung up. I am sorry if Mr. Dobson got the wrong impression, but I can assure you that everything we do here is patient-focused, including verifying their insurance in advance of their appointment. I have been at this location for 22 years and I pride myself on going the extra mile for my patients, and I would be glad to do so for Mr. Dobson should he chose to come in.”

The rates are competitive and weekly cleaning costs to employees is very reasonable. UniFirst provides good weekly service to the plant and they resolve any issues that arise quickly.
