“I’m so confused by the bad ratings. I have an extensive medical history and allergies to medications. I accidentally ended up here instead of UNC bc I passed out otw from SVT. My daughter was driving and it freaked her out. They said I had to go to one of the 2- Duke hospitals. They both had been to Duke Regional and had a good experience so I trusted them and gave it a shot. So very glad I did. Every single person who I came in contact with were so professional and showed that they really wanted to help you with whatever you may need. They were on time for meds and would answer my questions without getting irritated. They kept me up to date on what was going on and what the tentative plan was for the day. They did all the necessary tests for my symptoms. They got my nausea and vomiting under control as well as my pain. They all asked if my daughter needed anything. This is the first time in my life, I’m 40, that I have been admitted anywhere for anything that everyone was nice. Plus they worked with you and you were able to help make decisions in your care plan. With me we made goals that I wanted to meet. I met them all and went home in 24 hours instead of longer.
