I live directly behind the church, actually my backyard backs up to the graveyard. Back in the summer the 5 grandchildren we're visiting us & they wanted to to the playground at Crews Church. We were playing in the playground when a gentleman was walking from the church we were going to leave & I apologized for being on the church playground the gentleman introduced himself as the preacher and said we didn't need to leave play & enjoy yourself. That kind of reception has never been forgotten by me or my grandchildren. A real asset to the community.
