Very clean and beautiful landscape. Favorite spot to sit at the picnic tables enjoy the fresh air and sun on occasional dates.
I spent a weekend with like minded 18th century living historian's. Think Rev War and Georgian era. The guided tour given by staff at the center was top notch and explained some of the founding of Salem and the Why did the Moravian church buy the County!?!.
Our weekend was a private sanctioned event and we tried to be accurate. (No we didn't dig trenches) but observed masks and social distancing also requiring All disposable eating equipment. But it didn't detract from the overall experience of learning details, of life, clothing, stations in life, certain manners (and Lack of) and skills one could take away to reexamine.
Nice little park with some old 1600-1700 are cellars still in place. There are also a few buildings and a reproduction of the old fort. Just be careful of the road that cuts through the park. There is a speed limit, but few seem to heed the posted signage.
Simple, modest, rich, excellent
With great breeze and sun out come enjoy a nice walk at Bethabara Park where you can see a great garden with butterflies and bees. There are also a few historical homes & shops along with information about them. Also enjoy paved trails to walk behind the garden.
