  I have lived at the Link Apartments - Brookstown for almost 2 years and it is the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. I go to school over at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center so this location could not be better for me. The management goes above and beyond what is asked of them to make sure you are happy in your apartment and within the complex. Mgmt treats you with respect here, as opposed to other complexes in the area that have treated me as more of a bothersome tenant. They are so professional and accommodating I could not speak more highly of them, and they are always responsive to concerns and questions. Maintenance requests are often completed day-of, if not, the day following. Common spaces are kept clean and I am proud to invite guests over when I can! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone - especially for those working at the hospital.

  Great maintenance. Corey and Mark are knowledgeable, efficient and courteous. The best part of apartment living!

  I moved into the Link Brookstown apartments a couple of weeks after they first opened. This meant there was construction of one thing or another for the next couple of months. Many times the construction was a pain, but the consistent shining beam of light through this period and ever since has been the exceptional customer service provided by the front office professionals. This particularly applies to Lisa Moffat (the apartment manager) and Mike Hutton (the assistant apartment manager) as they both have been here since the beginning.
  
  Like any apartment complex, we have our challenges (the woman who thinks her Mercedes deserves two spaces in the prime parking spots; residents who will not pick up behind their dogs; the resident with a new puppy who cries all day starting at 5:30 am). However, our professional staff has handled every issue with both grace and courtesy getting the concern resolved in a timely manner that was fair to all involved. And, the cherry on top of the cake is that they do it all with a genuine smile.
  
  We have great amenities I could regale you with at Link Brookstown (security, prime location, Starbucks coffee, resident socials, etc.), but the reality is if you pay enough you can get that at many places. What sets this “home” apart is that the community is held together by the people who care about making this a home for us. The apartment complex is not perfect by any means, but they continue to strive to make it some place great to live. This is why I just renewed my contract for another year. Due to my professional aspirations, I have lived in a lot of apartments in a lot of cities. If I am not going to live in my own house, this is where I choose to be in Winston Salem.

  Links is the best apartment I have ever had - great people, great residents and loads of fun. The building is well maintained and maintenance is usually next day for even the most minor problems. The management staff is on-site and very easily available for any questions. The building is clean, quiet and really close to all activities in downtown Winston-Salem. Tons of amenities - fitness room is great and pool and outside grills are not only fun but lots of residents to make friends with. Building is very pet friendly which is a great plus. Parking is right next to your apartment and indoors which is nice with summer heat and winter ice. I hate to leave if it wasn't for another job I would be here forever. A must have apartment in Winston-Salem
