We have taken our pups to Oldtown Vet for three decades (now spanning our 4th pup). You don’t stay with a the same vet that long if you don’t trust them, respect their medical advice, and feel as if they want the very best for your 4-legged family member! They are absolutely professional and friendly. I was there yesterday for a wellness check and was very impressed with how they have adapted their business to the pandemic environment.....without losing the feel of the service they have always provided. Very glad we found them many, many years ago!!!
We saw impressive reviews for Oldtown Veterinary Hospital, which happens to be very near our new home, so we called to schedule appointments for our two cats (they needed routine wellness checks and inoculations). We were able to get in quickly, which was lovely.
We sincerely appreciate the measures requested by (and taken by) the doctors and staff to help keep everyone safe during the pandemic. We only wish all of the other furbaby parents would reciprocate and wear masks for the safety of the staff, doctors, and others, as well.
The staff with whom we interacted are wonderful! They are quite understanding and friendly. Dr. Strickland saw both of our cats and we were impressed that he came out to our car to speak with us personally. We will definitely return.
Great! Highly efficient staff. Dr. Strickland is so kind. He took the time to come out to my car and explain what he did for my cat. The entire staff was amazing! The prices are very reasonable! Very well-run office! I'm impressed!! Thank you!
I called Oldtown Vet after trying a few other vets closer to me, because my brother's dog (Diesel) got into some expired *human* food while on an extended stay with me... They were able to see him right away. They called the previous vet to transfer files, which made things a lot easier for me. Check-in was a breeze and they were very thorough when asking about his condition/what he ate/how was his behavior. They really seemed to care and were always professional. We got Diesel caught up on some vaccines he was behind on, but they didn't add any unnecessary procedures or medications to run the bill up, which was appreciated. Very clear directions were typed out for me & explained to me before I checked out & left. The visit was quicker than I expected, and Diesel was very comfortable with the employees. All around great experience and will definitely continue care here. (side note: Diesel is fine now!)
Everyone we interacted with including our primary vet, Dr. Jarvis, was wonderful. We have been looking for the right vet office and vet for our dogs (and us) for six years and finally found our spot. The whole crew at Oldtown is kind, caring, honest, and professional. Times are tough with the pandemic but the staff at Oldtown followed all guidelines for health and safety. Their process of checking in and handing over our dog(s) was flawless. I have never felt so at peace with leaving our older dog on his own at the vet and we’re so thankful to have oldtown to care for him and our new dog! They were honest about pricing and procedures, what our dogs need, and how to proceed. Thank you to everyone at Oldtown!
