Basically ARCA saved my life. They have a very caring medical staff that simultaneously deals with multiple patients with a plethora of problems. I felt respected here and not judged. Recovery is going well. I am a better person bc of ARCA and their staff. Sure, there are counselors there who just want a paycheck but there are many who truly care about your addictions and mental well being. The food could be healthier but it’s a rehab facility not a resort. Went to every class and started working the 12 steps while in recovery. I have a long way to go but without ARCA and their caring staff I wouldn’t be the man I am today. Some are there for the wrong reasons, but if you take your sobriety seriously and want to change for the better then swallow some pride and listen to what they say. I was there for nearly 18 days and completed the program, got my certificate and God-willing will only come back to share to those in need. I’m reading the Big Book now and the 12 Traditions daily. I haven’t had a drink since being there and I can honestly say my life has completely changed. I no longer fear life, or change, or just being myself and I can attribute all these feelings from the seed planted, the seed of hopefulness given to me by the people of ARCA. If anyone of you ever read this. Thank you. Thank you for everything you taught me. Craig, Doris, Randall, Kenny,....everyone. Thank you.

Due to anonymity I won't mention names, but after the past year I've had I finally got a family member to go there. I went to every session I could go to support my loved ones and walked away with so many tools to help myself, knowledge of the disease and key factors of healthy boundaries. These counselors and entire staff truly care and most are long time clean recovering addicts. If you go in prepared to do the work, and I know this is killing so many daily so as a family member I made sure I was at every session I could go to. The staff and the knowledge they bring is priceless and they are so genuine, anyone struggling with addiction I would highly recommend them. We will continue for a long time to heal in my family, but now we kniw it's a disease not a choice. Thank you all at ARCA!

The staff here is so accommodating. I was struggling with the loss of my husband on top of everything else and asked specifically for help with loss and grieving. My counselor was amazing, as was our break-out groups. All staff are professional and well trained. You can definitely gain knowledge of addiction, recovery and how to continue the recovery process if you come here with the mind set that you are truly done with the old way of life.

I went to this facility over five years ago and still use the tools they instilled in me there to cope everyday. I'm proud to say I haven't relapsed since my departure and am very grateful for the dedication the staff showed while I was in this program. It's works if you work it. It's all about what you want. If you truly want to make a change, this is the place. But you must have that desire!
