Village Fabric Shop

Lots of cute little kits for project ideas and even got a few myself! They also have an awesome section to promote reuse which I loved! The shop is a bit pricey and due to this I wasn’t able to afford any fabric, but I’m sure it’s speciality and worth it in its own regard!

Wow! What a wonderful shop! The Village Fabric Shop is a beautifully curated shop filled with so many wonderful fabrics, notions, patterns and best of all….. Excellent Customer Service! We had 9 ladies in our group who made a 4 hour round trip drive and it was most definitely worth it. We arrived at 10am when the shop was opening and Nicole was friendly, kind and welcoming! She answered all of our questions, cut so many yards of fabric, made sure we knew where to get some yummy doughnuts and catered to each of us along with all of the other customers who came into her shop. This is not just a recommend, this is a MUST Go To shop. It is filled with the most glorious garment and quilting fabrics and I can’t wait to make a return visit. Oh, I hear she’s an amazing instructor and I will definitely make the trip to take classes. Checkout the Village Fabric Shop - you will be so glad you did! I moved to Winston-Salem about a year ago and this is the first place I sought out… I love to sew and I love quality fabrics this place is so unique and the quality of their items is top notch. Nicole and Kelsey are so friendly and Knowledgeable. I just finished a pants class with them and it was so much fun. Everyone knows pants never fit right and are not fun but these were truly magic pants. The linen I purchased from the store is top quality and will last a long time I will definitely make these again.

I am new at sewing but was really drawn to this shop's appearance and unique vibrant fabric designs on IG. I drove 30 min to get there and was not disappointed. Nicole showed warm personal interest and I bought beautiful fabric there. I didn't feel pressured into buying but rather encouraged to be creative.

Bright and charming shop with lovely fabrics, sewing patterns & kits, and a variety of sewing & quilting supplies. Classes are available for beginning and experienced sewists. During my visit, the shop was open late for a candle pouring demo by a crafter from Doodlations, a local small business. These candles are also available at Village Fabric Shop. I appreciate local businesses that support one another, and definitely picked up a little something for myself while I was there!
