Sunshine House of Winston-Salem at Polo Road

Both of my small children (ages 2 and 4 mos.) attend school at SSH, and we are proud to be a part of the family! My daughter went from a non-verbal toddler to a talkative two in no time ♥️ I was weary about placing my son at 6-weeks old, but all my fears subsided as I saw how quickly he was adapting. Using the app provided to parents, I am able to stay involved in my child’s day and feel comfortable and confident in their care! Thank you, again, ladies for all that you do

First I want to say how much I love this place. My child has been here since she was 2 years old. And she is 4 now. I love ms. Sarah I swear she is the greatest. I never met someone who loves their job. Not only she does her job right she loves the kids and the moms.. I swear this lady has always been so nice sweet and honest with me. She worked with me every time and I just love this lady. I hate that my daughter have to leave the sunshine house to go to preschool but I will never forget this lady. Please bring your kids here they are outstanding always help the mom out and just so kind.

I love the Sunshine House. The teachers are amazing. My 2 children have been there for 2 years now and my youngest started in the infant room and has moved up now into one of the 2 year old classrooms and all the teachers have been so loving and caring to my children. Especially Ms. Norma and Ms. Pummer, they are the best. Ms. Ruth is the best director too. She treats all the kids as if they were her own even my older kids that don’t attend the daycare when they go in with me to pick up their siblings. I will always recommend this daycare.

My daughter has only been at this center for a couple of days but we LOVE it so far. We had a horrible experience with another center in town but I can leave my pride and joy here with no worries at all. The staff is wonderful, attentive, and caring. They know my daughter by name as soon as we walk in the door and they feed her delicious, fresh meals! They take the time to help her adjust because she is about to turn 2 and has never been in daycare before. Thank you so much to Ms. Ruth and all of your amazing staff for allowing me to go back to work worry free!

My child has been at this center for a little over 3 years and every classroom and every teacher he has had had been amazing! The teachers are in constant communication with the parents and they have a new tablet app that gives you daily updates on progress. Major upside of this center is that they rarely close which is an upside with my busy schedule. This center is very family and community orientated they are constantly hosting after school events for the kids and families. I love how my son is treated at this center!!!
