Kermit's Hot Dog House

Loved it. Old place with a lot of history just like I expected. Service was great, people were friendly but they need some value meals as it's hard to feed a family of five.

Was on the hunt for a good dog, this spot came up and was glad I went. Love the old school diner look and feel. This is an awesome spot

Rode out here to visit yet another place on the list of top hot dog joints in NC. And once again, I was not disappointed. Just look at those two hot dogs in the pic - you know anything that messy is going to be delicious! I'm normally a soft bun type of person, but Kermit's had the buns on these toasted to perfection imo - just enough to give it a tiny bit of crunch without burning things. I suppose it is a good thing they are so far away from where I live - I'd be eating here way too often if they were closer.

My husband and I were going to Lexington to get bbq for friends and decided to make a quick detour to Kermit’s for a hotdog. What a great place. They were the best dogs we’ve had in a long time. The chili and slaw were delicious and the crinkle cut fries were hot and crispy. Service was also very good. We’ll definitely make the trip again for these dogs

Got great service (they were super busy, but a little patience goes a long way if you have to wait). Burgers and dogs are good and the pimento cheese is a must!
Breakfast is good too when I've stopped in for it, the tenderloin is my absolute fave!
Curb service starts at four but sometimes they have it earlier depending on staff availability.
I will definitely keep coming back!!
