Great FREE museum. Very educational about local history. Highly recommend.
This museum has heart and soul! Cathy and Stan are passionate about meeting guests and giving information. I learned a lot and enjoyed my visit- I was there maybe 1.5 hours. It is also FREE to the public, very clean, and charming. Definitely worth a stop and a great place to bring people from out-of-town.
Having just gone through truck driver training and gotten my CDL-A, it was very interesting to me to see what the old trucks from the great depression and on looked like on the inside and out. No power steering, no guages on the dash, and some with two shifters. Whew.
Awesome place if your interested in the history of trucking!
I have been wanting to go to this museum for quite awhile, went there on Jan. 5th 2019 and it was well worth it. The Staff were very friendly and informative I learned a lot about trucking through the early years. The vehicles were what I went to see, they are very well preserved although the building is a little cramped it was still a Very good experience. I Highly recommend to put this on your list to see if you are in to restored vehicles of any kind.
