  This is not a newer hotel. We have stayed here during power outages. We have depended on this hotel to accomodate us when we have lots of family visiting town. They are not pet friendly. But they are one of the few hotels in this area. Locations means a lot to me because I want to be close to family, friends, and food! Also, there is a wonderful sidewalk that runs down the side street. It is very close to I-85 as well as some medical facilities. It is also very convenient to the CLT airport!

  Out of the last dozen or so hotels I've stayed at this was hands down the best. The majority of the rooms I stay in have obvious signs of repair to the rooms like rushed patch work to the walls or furniture chipping but I did not see any of that in the room I stayed in. The biggest thing I look for when renting a room is the bathroom and my stay this time didn't disappoint. The water pressure and heat were both consistent for my 30 minute shower and the towels didn't leave my skin dry like most do. The staff was friendly and even tho I had slept in and missed breakfast by a few mins they were more than happy to assist me in getting a plate to eat. If I'm ever passing by the area again I'll look forward to stopping by this hotel again.

  Great location, friendly staff, and the beds are super comfortable. Rooms look nice and modern. Would stay here again.

  Standard Holiday Inn Express but that’s not a bad thing. Nice rooms. Decent breakfast. Good price. The only issue is the parking which can be tight late at night.
