  Great BBQ and sides. I got the brisket and pulled pork combo with jalapeno cheese grits and mac and cheese added ribs. Also, tried some smoked chicken and peach cobbler that came with a scoop of ice cream. Everything was great, but recommend brisket, pulled pork, and chicken with peach cobbler and either grits or mac and cheese. BEST smoked chicken I have ever had and great brisket too.

  We drove 2 hours to eat at Ray Nathan’s. There is not enough good things I can say about this restaurant. The area is clean and very open and did not feel crowed at all. The staff is very friendly and very well managed. The food came out very quickly and offered good portion sizes. The pork and ribs very tender and you had 4 different sauces to pick from. The sides were plenty and the banana pudding was oh so yummy. We definitely will be back!

  Excellent meal. Excellent service. Everything about the restaurant’s atmosphere is clean and fresh. Since our first time eating there, my wife and I have not missed a weekly dinner!

  Really good bbq here. They are really busy here so plan on a wait. Was out of the hand rubbed ribs so got the glazed. They were pretty tasty. They have a wide variety of sauces to use on each table. The fried okra was great and the hand cut fries are good. Didn't care for the green beans. Wife didn't like the mac and cheese. The price is a little high, for two people eating the smaller meals with one drink was 33.00, but the food was high quality and the portions were good. Service was okay, place is clean.

  RayNathan's catered food for us last week during All Star week. We had ribs, brisket, pulled pork, plus all the fixings. We asked for food for 6 and we ended up feeding double that! Highly recommend their Red Sauce for each type of meat. Ribs had a great dry rub on them. Finally, the Banana Pudding and Apple Cake finished off a great meal. The Apple Cake was moist and has a great cinnamon crunch to it. I highly recommend anyone from the great Gastonia and Charlotte area to give them a shot. Great food and great service. We will certainly be going back and recommending it to all our friends.
