After my father was diagnosed with Parkinsons's disease and related dementia, my family enlisted the assistance of Home Helpers in order to keep him in his home. Lisa Hmiel and her staff were an absolute godsend for my father and our family. Dad's caretakers were wonderful company for him, they kept his house in order, and made sure that he had three good meals every day. His many medications were administered appropriately and his personal hygiene and grooming were attended to meticulously. We were able to rely on Dad's regular caretakers to take him to doctor visits and to accurately relay to us all instructions and information provided at those visits.
Lisa Hmiel also personally dropped in to visit Dad frequently; he really enjoyed those visits.
Should I ever be in a position to need home health care in the future, I would not consider anyone except Home Helpers. I found great peace of mind in knowing that he was happy, content and well cared for in his own home by caretakers that genuinely became part of our family.
