In fact she took the initiative to question my rating category directly with the state. The state's first response was incorrect at a 10 times higher premium. Godwin knew enough about my business to explain it further, find the legal categories, and get agreement from the state that the lower classification was correct! Saving 90% in premium. In summary, exceptional service, above and beyond!
After many years working with one of the big franchise insurance companies and getting very little in the way of personal attention, we decided to trade in our policy number and take back our name. And we're so glad we did!
First off, Karol (our representative at Godwin) did a comprehensive review of our coverages and reviewed it with us item by item. This is something we were told came with our service but I now believe it was probably an algorithm and not a professional looking after us. Karol discovered gaps in our coverage that could have crippled us had certain unfortunate events occurred.
At that the end of the day Godwin met or bettered our coverages, filled in the gaps and SAVED US MONEY! And the entire experience was pleasant and painless.
But the thing that makes the Godwin experience so much better than franchise guys or the online guys is that personal touch. The experience is intimate. No call centers. No long waits on hold. Just provide your name when you call and they know who you are. And it doesn't cost more to get this experience.
