Great place but hit and miss. Some people sit there all day and bark about what other dogs should be doing while theirs is mounting every dog it sees. Some people bring aggressive dogs too. Beware. This is not a place to teach your dog to be non aggressive especially if you sit or stand there and do nothing about it! Thats not teaching. But it IS why your dog is aggressive. Because YOU are not the Alpha in their eyes.
The actual park is a little bit of a walk from the parking area. There isn't any signage either. There is a sidewalk leading there, though. It is well shaded, but there isn't much grass. It's mostly dirt and sand; I wouldn't suggest taking your puppy here after it's rained. The people and dogs I've met here have been very friendly. It was a great place for my 3 huskies to run and play when we lived in the area. Lastly, there are water fountains there for pups to have a drink after playing hard. Be a good pet parent and clean up after them, please. 😉
