Great service at very reasonable price.
Every person I spoke to at MBM regarding our move was very customer oriented, courteous, and concerned about us having a great moving experience. The moving crew was fantastic. They all did their best to make sure our property was not damaged when packing, moving, and filling the moving van. They all were friendly, respectful, courteous, hard working, and answered questions without hesitation.
There were no major glitches, except there was a discrepancy regarding the amount of boxes and types to be used once the crew arrived and we showed them what was to be packed for two different delivery locations and one other pickup location, plus additional charges for stairs. Once I contacted the MBM office to resolve the issue, we just had to pay for the extra boxes, which was fair.
Also, the moving crew accidentally ripped our basement stairs awning, but we were able to work out a claim for them to pay for repair/replacement and to work directly with the new owners and the awning company who installed it.
So far only one box did not make it to our temporary living apartment that apparently got put into our storage location by mistake, or it was mislabeled.
Other than those two issues mentioned above, overall the company did a great job from administrative issues to actual pickup and delivery.
I highly recommend this company. It is apparent hey really have customer satisfaction as a goal.
I would like to give a 4.5 rating for the two issues I mentioned but, since that is not possible, I still give a 5.
I contacted several companies for my move from NC to KY, American Van Lines was the only company to be punctual in their appointments. They responded quickly and courteous to all my questions. Their Customer Service department is excellent. Their quote was about the same than the other companies, but their service was superior. I recommend American Van Lines and will use them if I have to move again.
I shifted a few months back and used this service to shift my things...the pricing is reasonable and fit my budget perfectly... the guys who came to load the things and unload were very friendly and made it seem simple... the best part was that they packed all the heavy furniture and bedding themselves... reason why i am reducing a star is because delivery was delayed by 2 weeks from the date given to me... but i would still recommend it because all my things reached safe without any damage...
I have gone through multiple out of state moves as an adult and hired professional movers for all of them. I can say without a doubt that my move with MBM in the Summer of 2015 was the best. We moved from North Carolina to Ohio and from start to finish MBM did exactly what they told me they would do. My estimator, Brock, was excellent and honest and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. The driver and crew were amazing. The same crew that picked me up also unloaded me. They were on time for pickup and arrived in Ohio a few days later with my goods, just as they told me they would. I am completely moved in and unpacked and can honestly say that I did not lose any items and nothing was broken or damaged. If you have ever been moved by professionals then you know that is unheard of. The final cost for the entire move ended up less than my estimate because they didn't need as much packing material as estimated. I seriously cannot give a high enough recommendation for this company.
