“Stayed at Highbrook from 2020 - 2021. Overall was a great experience. The only reason why we left is that we purchased a house. Pros: 1. Neighborhood a) Community is very quiet. Loud vehicles passing by/neighbor noises are fairly rare. b) Lots of conveniences near by (many restaurants/shops are in walking distance). b) Safe. Used to jog around at 8-9PM. 2. Units are maintained cleanly. It seems like carpet was replaced right before we moved in. 3. Garage/car wash available if you're into it Cons: 1. Gym/pool could not be always available, but most likely due to COVID-19. 2. I could use a bigger gym - at least it's better than nothing and has most I usually use. 3. Utilities were slightly higher here than other apartments I've lived in before. It was generally around $150 for lights + water. Hope it's helpful”

“We recently stayed at the Marriott Airport for our wedding festivities. We had 30 rooms blocked with friends and family flying in from different locations. The Marriott shuttle from the airport was absolutely perfect. When guests arrived, they were treated extra special being a part of our wedding and being the bride, and I can honestly say there was such peace of mind throughout the entire weekend! We also hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Marriott and felt like royalty! Each staff member took a special part in our wedding celebrations, and we couldn't have done it without them! The Due South staff serving my large groups of Italian/Southern families filled the dining area and was still cared for with the most extraordinary hospitality. We worked with Amber coordinating our plans from room blocks, hotel gift bags, and rehearsal dinner, and everything discussed was brought to life to every detail; it was perfect. Finally, I must mention Bril and Lillian at the front desk. Talk about hospitality! They truly made my husband and I felt like king and queen and continued that feeling with my friends and family! They were equally excited and happy for us as the rest of our group. From ensuring our rooms were perfect, guests were satisfied, and they went above and beyond by extending a helping hand outside their job duties! We loved every minute that was spent at the Marriott. Thank you for everything! It truly means so much to the world to us!”

“Purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Mike and got an affordable but classy Mini Cooper S. He does offer an in-house financing option with terms different than if financing with a bank or auto dealer with access to traditional lending, which seems to be a good option for a client with credit issues (not my case). Instead, I was looking for a lower cost vehicle which I paid for in cash and have no payments. I save the “payment” each month for a rainy day fund for the inevitable maintenance and repairs and I usually come out ahead. Having purchased many pre-owned vehicles over the years, I understand that a pre-owned vehicle is “as is” once you sign on the dotted line and that ANYTHING can go wrong with it as soon as you drive it off the lot and it hasn’t undergone a thorough in-house mechanical inspection (which means a higher price). I used an independent mechanic for an inspection before purchasing to identify any potential major issues and have had a good experience with this vehicle, all things considered...after all, it is a second generation Mini and they are known known for having “issues” and it can often be “from one check engine light to the next” in terms of maintenance and repairs...”
